TO IDENTIFY, PROTECT, AND FACILITATE THE PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT AND OPTIMAL UTILIZATION OF WAQF
PROPERTIES FOR THE WELFARE OF MINORITY COMMUNITIES
AND ENHANCEMENT OF COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE.
1. To collaborate with Waqf Boards, government authorities, and
private entities for the scientific and lawful development of Waqf
land and assets into institutions, commercial hubs, housing
projects, or community centers that serve public interest.
2. To ensure that revenue generated from Waqf properties is
reinvested in education, healthcare, skill development, and
employment generation projects for the socio-economic upliftment
of the Muslim community and other minority groups.
3. To work in alignment with national initiatives such as the Smart
Cities Mission, urban renewal schemes, and inclusive urban
planning, by integrating Waqf assets into larger development
frameworks that promote economic growth and civic modernization.
4. To advocate for policy reforms and institutional transparency in the
management of Waqf properties, ensuring accountability,
digitization of records, and participatory governance for community
benefit.
5. To initiate pilot projects that demonstrate sustainable, inclusive, and
economically productive models of Waqf land development, in
consultation with stakeholders and urban planning experts.
6. To position Waqf property development as a strategic contributor to
national GDP, employment, and urban equity, thereby
strengthening India’s economy through community-driven asset
utilization.
