1. To act as a bridge between minority communities and various
government departments, institutions, and agencies for effective
delivery of welfare schemes and services.
2. To assist individuals and community groups in understanding,
accessing, and availing government welfare schemes related to
education, housing, health, employment, entrepreneurship, and
minority development.
3. To provide legal, procedural, and documentation support required
for applying to government schemes, licenses, tenders, subsidies,
and benefits.
4. To organize awareness campaigns, workshops, and help desks to
disseminate information about state and central government
initiatives relevant to minority upliftment.
5. To liaise with local authorities, municipal bodies, and district
administrations to resolve community issues such as infrastructure,
utilities, identity documentation, and public service access.
6. To represent the concerns, interests, and grievances of minority
communities before government agencies and advocate for policy
improvements.
7. To monitor and evaluate the impact and reach of government
programs in minority areas and publish findings and
recommendations for corrective action.
8. To support community members in RTI (Right to Information)
applications, grievance redressal procedures, and online
government portals for transparency and accountability.
9. To facilitate direct interaction between citizens and government
officials through community meetings, Jan Sunwais (public
hearings), and participatory governance models.
10. To collaborate with government ministries, commissions (such as
National Commission for Minorities), and development boards to
ensure representation of community interests in policy planning.
